First Witch - Maiden Martyr Crone
Throughout history, women have been punished for their beliefs, their bodies, and their bravery. Sometimes, they have been punished simply by virtue of being women. Inspired by the life cycle of the “Maiden, Mother, Crone” archetype, the “Maiden Martyr Crone” portraits pay tribute to women throughout history who have been belittled for their youth, patronized for their age, and who have been made into martyrs of womanhood.
Challenge puritanical and colonial idealism through the energy of Tituba, the first person to be accused of witchcraft in the Salem Witch Trials. Available in 8”x10”.
Giclée fine art prints are printed at my in-house studio on cardstock using high-quality pigment ink. Packaged with care in a cellophane sleeve with a backing board.
R E T U R N S: I do not accept returns and can arrange exchanges on a case-by-case basis - please contact me if you have any questions or are dissatisfied with your order.
