Abortion is a Human Right
On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe v. Wade, destroying 50 years of precedent that allowed people the autonomy to choose their own forms of reproductive healthcare. I created this piece in response as my own form of protest art and a way to channel my grief and rage at witnessing the continued objectification, depersonalization, and devaluing of bodies like mine on a systematic level.
This print features flowers whose names begin with the same letters as the phrase emblazoned around them:
Asphodel and Artemisia vulgaris (which is an abortifacient) stand for Abortion. Hellebore and Heather stand for Human. Roses stand for Right. Together, they - and I - stand for reproductive healthcare justice.
Available in 4x6 and 5x7 (5x7 pictured). Giclée fine art prints are printed at my in-house studio on cardstock using high-quality pigment ink. Packaged with care in a cellophane sleeve with a backing board.
R E T U R N S: I do not accept returns and can arrange exchanges on a case-by-case basis - please contact me if you have any questions or are dissatisfied with your order.
